For those of you who are not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (a.k.a. the Mormon Church) it is tough to explain really about our temples and why they are so important to us. Just suffice it to say that these buildings are sacred and considered to be places where the presence of Jesus Christ is more imminent than anywhere else in the world. As such they hold a special place in my heart, and I love to take pictures of them, especially if they are any good. The sky is not what I had hoped for, but the sunset had faded rather quickly before I could get up there.
I have posted both the original straight out of the camera and the processed RAW images, though I haven't done much beyond some simple curves and levels adjustments. Taken with my Sigma 17-70 from on top of the roof of my truck. Dumb I know but it was the angle I wanted. sigh....
