The top photo is the JPEG produced by my Camera. The bottom is the file produced by taking the RAW data, converting to TIFF format, manipulating in Photoshop and then Saving as a JPEG to upload to the internet. To be fair I should have adjusted the JPEG as well, but I wanted to post them and see on my monitor at work which looks better.
Tell me if you think this is overly bright and/or just not as good.

I think it is great, I like the lighter photo, you can see more detail.

The colors are definately more vivid in the second - I think this one is the better of the two. The first seems very gray feeling. Did you have one in between?

Can do something more muted, though the second is pretty close to what it looked like. Photoshop is pretty good with that, will see what I can do!
